The iPad was officially available for pre-order on March 13, 2010. The bare-bones unit (16 GB and WiFi) is $499 and the fully loaded iPad (64 GB with 3G service) is $829 with several options in between.

Apple also announced they will not replace worn batteries. Instead, they'll send you a brand-new iPad (source: Engadget). One thing: Make sure to frequently back up your data.

Just in time for impending warm weather, beach vacations, and pool visits the Sony TX5 is waterproof in up to 10 feet of water for one hour. The 10.2 mexapixel camera is also freeze proof (great for ski trips), dust proof, and can withstand falls of up to 5 feet. $349
